Meet Our Founder

J. Brian Bergeron is an ordained deacon in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah, Georgia, and the founder of Jesus Rocks Ministry. With a heart for evangelization and a passion for people, he has spent more than two decades inspiring others to encounter Christ in a real and life-changing way.

J. Brian holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master’s Certificate in Pastoral Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, all from Saint Leo University. Blending theological insight with practical life experience, he is a highly sought-after Christian motivational speaker and gifted homilist, known for delivering messages that are both powerful and deeply relatable.

Since 2004, J. Brian has traveled across the country—and beyond, from North Dakota to Bogotá, Colombia—proclaiming a simple but transformative message: pursue your faith with passion, purpose, and joy. His energy, authenticity, and love for the Lord resonate with audiences of all ages, making each retreat, seminar, and speaking engagement a meaningful encounter.

Before answering his call to ministry, J. Brian attended Louisiana State University on a full basketball scholarship. As a member of two Southeastern Conference championship teams and a participant in the NCAA Final Four, he learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—principles he now weaves into his ministry and teaching.

J. Brian approaches life with humility, always mindful of his journey as a redeemed sinner striving to put God first and love Him most. In addition to his ministry work, he is a dedicated high school teacher and basketball coach, as well as a lifelong entrepreneur.

At the center of his life is his family. J. Brian and his wife, Jill, have been joyfully married for 37 years. They are blessed with two Spirit-filled daughters, Abby (Ben) and Alexa, and four cherished grandchildren—Amelia, John Thomas, Townes, and Rhodes—who continue to inspire his faith and mission every day.
